Fast-growing Food Distribution company relocating from Milpitas to Tracy in the spring of 2018 is looking for an experienced Transportation Admin. Must be willing to commute until the move is complete. Commute expense reimbursement available. Hourly rate is from $15 to $20 per hour.

Responsibilities

  • Electronic driver log editing, reporting and tracking
  • Enter driver payroll
  • Freight management
  • Organize inbound and outbound paperwork
  • Assist in organizing compliance record keeping and training - OSHA, HACCP and DOT
  • Contacts appropriate parties and customers to obtain additional information as necessary
  • Provides excellent customer service
  • Other responsibilities and duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum one year on the job prior Transportation office environment experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Knowledgeable in AS400 program preferred.
  • Proficient and accurate in 10-key, data entry, and office equipment
  • Interpersonal skills - Good oral and written communication
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work load.
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Product knowledge is helpful.
  • Ability to pass background investigation and drug test.
