    Responsibilities

    • Responsible in ensuring that all drivers dispatching have the proper paperwork, equipment, keys and tools to start their delivery day.
    • Manages Fleet Center (Drivers hours of service system) to ensure drivers are signed on and compliant.
    • Manages Delivery Star (Drivers scanning system) to ensure that drivers are signed on and have the ability to scan every stop.
    • Assists the drivers to ensure that all equipment is functioning during their pre-trip inspections.
    • Need to maintain communication with all equipment vendors. This is to ensure they service we need is provided
    • Responsible for following up on daily emails that relate to communication, process changes and nightly updates.
    • Restaurant key maintenance. This includes moving keys and documenting changes, requesting new copies, and monitoring our key security procedures.
    • Provide reports to the transportation supervisors and manager. These reports will include the use of programs such as delivery star, roadnet, Microsoft office, etc.
    • Work with documentation that is required to be filed/stored by federal law (D.O.T). This includes hours of service records, maintenance records, Driver Qualification logs, etc.
    • Miscellaneous clerical tasks such as making hotel reservations for the drivers. Coverage for other clerical staff when they are on vacation/off, interacting with customers and possibly visiting customers.

    Qualifications

    • Must have computer knowledge in programs such as Internet explorer, Google Chrome, Google Maps, Google earth, Microsoft excel, Word, Powerpoint, outlook. Roadnet experience is a plus.
    • Work in a fast pace environment with time restrictions and prompt deadlines.
    • English/Spanish bilingual speaking is a plus.
    • Ability to speak in front of a group and or interact with drivers, staff and customers.
    • Needs to be flexible with scheduling and adapt to last minute schedule changes.
    • Must be interested in developing leadership skills.
    • Fast learner who adapts to quick changes in the business.
    • Works independently with minimal or no supervision.
    • Must be able to demonstrate customer service and relation building.
    • Ability to pass a background check, pre-employment drug screen is required.
